DOH OPENS FIRST GENEXPERT LABORATORY IN CALABARZON

Department of Health (DOH) – CALABARZON (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon) on June 23, 2020, formally opened the first GeneXpert Laboratory in the region located at the Batangas Medical Center, the regions first and foremost regional hospital to provide immediate and reliable laboratory information for the treatment, prevention, control and management of COVID-19 and other diseases.

DOH OPENS FIRST LGU MOLECULAR LABORATORY IN CALABARZON

The first local government unit (LGU) - initiated molecular laboratory in CALABARZON (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon) located inside the compound of the Ospital ng Imus, Cavite was formally opened to the public on June 6, 2020 after the Department of Health (DOH) approved its license to operate to effectively address and diagnose COVID 19 cases in Imus and neighboring municipalities.

BACOOR TURNS 10 CONTAINER VANS INTO COVID 19 ISOLATION FACILITIES

The City Government of Bacoor turned over 10 container vans which were converted as isolation facilities for COVID 19 patients to the Department of Health (DOH) – CALABARZON (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon) which will be used to isolate and treat identified patients in the community.
