DOH-CALABARZON (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon) yesterday conducted the First Barangay Health Workers (BHW) Convention, which was attended by 530 participants from the five provinces of the region held at the Heritage Hotel in Pasay City on October 11, 2018 with the theme “Makabagong Barangay Health Worker Para sa Modernong Panahon”.

DOH-CALABARZON (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon) yesterday conducted a two-day training on ECG (Electrocardiogram) and Ultrasound training for 80 health workers including city health officers, municipal health officers and nurses and non-communicable disease coordinators of selected municipalities and cities of the region held at the Eurotel Hotel in Quezon City on October 9-10, 2018.

DOH-CALABARZON (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon) Regional Director vowed to provide more significant trainings for nurses to increase their knowledge and competencies during the two-day “Hospital and Public Health Nurse Conference” held in Pasay City on September 2-3, 2018.
“We will provide the needed educational programs to ensure that their capabilities and qualifications respond appropriately to the health needs of the people and challenges of times,” he stated.
