As part of the celebrations of the World Immunization Week (WIW) 2022, the Health Promotion Bureau (HPB), in coordination with its regional counterpart, the Department of Health Center for Health Development – (DOH-CHD) CaLaBaRZon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon), concludes “Healthy Pilipinas (HP) Bisita” as part of the week-long celebration of World Immunization Week.” 

Relative to HPB’s week-long activity is to gather and meet with the Local Chief Executives (LCEs), Provincial Health Officers (PHOs), Municipal Health Officers (MHOs), Provincial Health Team Leaders (PHTLs), and Environmental and Occupational Health Officers (EOHOs) in the province, from April 25 to 29, 2022.

HPBisita aims to provide an opportunity for the HPB to conduct both immersive and educational interventions to monitor and improve the DOH’s Health promotion campaigns and activities. 

The program focuses on three campaigns: Health is life, KonsulTayo, and the ongoing campaign against COVID-19, the Resbakuna Kasangga ng Bida.  

“We intend to highlight the collective action needed to promote the use of vaccines as we regain empowerment and protection of every pregnant woman, infant, adolescent, and elderly through immunization,” Program Management and Capacity Development Division, Chief, Dr. Alfonzo Miguel R. Regala said. 

“The COVID-19 Pandemic has interrupted health-care delivery services for the people, kapag hindi natin pagtuunan ng pansin ang mga health services na ito ay baka magdulot ito ng panibagong health crisis like measles  outbreaks, as the counterpart of HPB, the DOH-CHD is committed to support the ‘HPBisita’ for the benefit of the public,” DOH Calabarzon Regional Director Ariel I.
