In his speech, Go assured that the center will provide medical and health assistance among the residents of the second district of Rizal who cannot afford medical treatment.
“Lahat ng mga kababayan natin na mahihirap at nahihirapang makapagpagamot dahil sa kakulangang pinansyal, ay matutulungan natin sa pamamagitan ng Malasakit Center.”
The center has an initial fund of P3 million to be replenished monthly and will be increase as the need arises.
The center serves as a one-stop shop to hasten the delivery of medical services and free medicines.
DOH-CALABARZON Regional Director on the other hand, lauded the Senator’s effort in the establishment of Malasakit Centers in the country.
“Napakarami na nating kababayan ang natulungan ng mga center na ito. At isa ito sa mga napakaimportanteng proyekto ng ating Presidente Duterte na kung saan lahat ay mabibigyan ng libreng tulong at walang maiiwanan.”
Janairo disclosed that there are now three existing Malasakit Centers in Rizal province. The other two are located in Cainta and Antipolo.
