PRESS RELEASE/14 JULY 2020

Department of Health (DOH) - CALABARZON (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon) turned-over 11 more land ambulances to rural health units during yesterdays ceremony held at the open court of the Quirino Memorial Medical Center Compound in Project 4, Quezon City.

“We will complete the distribution of the 98 land ambulances before the end of this year. These units are needed especially now that we are experiencing rising cases of Covid -19.

There is now a total of 30 land ambulances distributed to various hospitals and rural health units of the region. Each unit is supplied with the essential medical equipment including automatic external defibrillator, nebulizer, portable suction machine, examining light, aneroid sphygmomanometer, folding stretcher, scoop stretcher, heavy duty stethoscope, and oxygen cylinder.
