The High Five Gallery took us to the daily activities of our hard-working health care workers in the rural health units who are engaged in their efforts to deliver quality health care to neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly. The gallery-showcased photos depicting their part to achieving the time-bound health related Millennium Development Goals.
Provincial Health Offices presented their respective Local Government Unit Scorecard per Inter-Local Health Zone. The health status display was intended to determine if reforms have effectively and equitably achieved goals in health system. Municipalities with notably high HIV cases served as an eye-opener to all. The need to intensify efforts, revise strategies or pursue a “catch up” plan was determined at a glance through the utilization of a color-coding scheme in the LGU scorecards.
